She is the daughter of renowned illustrator, Caron Turk. Heather hoped to collaborate on The Best Summer Day with her mother, but sadly, Caron lost her battle with cancer in 2019. Now, along with her daughter and Caron's granddaughter, Ava, this book has come to life with Caron's, Heather's and Ava's illustrations.
