About the Author
Cynthia Leavelle dreamed of becoming a writer from the time she read the Little House books as a child. Not until a good friend encouraged her, did she write her first book. She has published a novella with Barbour Publishing as well as the sequel to The Cord, which is entitled The Springs: The Story of Othniel and Acsah. She teaches English and English as a Second Language at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. She has two degrees from the University of North Texas. Married for more than thirty-five years, she and her husband Tommy have three grown sons.
