Greg Webster was an original member of The Ohio Players. This book is about how he help the group get a recording contract with Westbound Records, Inc. and a booking contract with Queens Booking Agency. This book is also about how Greg, who was voted the leader of the group when they first got started, until he left in 1973, help to keep the group together through all of their problems when they were trying to become the "HIT" making group everybody now knows. There are some interesting things in this book that The Ohio Players did that not many people know about. Greg hopes the reader of this book enjoys it as much as he did writing it. About the Author
Greg Webster, Sr. was born in Hamilton, Ohio in January, 1938. Among the other famed artists he has played with are: Charles (Please Come Home For Christmas) Brown, Jimmy McGriff, Jerry (Your Precious Love) Butler, Lonnie (Inst. Memphis) Mack and Jon (Heartbreak) Thomas. Greg is presently playing in and around the Dayton, Ohio area. One of his favorite clubs to play in is Jazz Central (formally The Building Lounge).
