Susan R. Thompson has worked in the field of public health and health promotion for over thirty years within nursing, health promotion services and academia. She holds a Masters in Public Health has been an academic since 2005.In addition to this publication has published a range of articles, delivered international conference presentations and workshops. She is a trustee and board member of the Institute of Health Promotion and Education, an international body which seeks to support health promoters in their work, contribute to and lobby for policy change in the field of health promotion and public health.
