About the Author
B. G. Hennessy came up with the idea for The Once Upon a Time Map Book when her sons were bringing home school assignments involving map reading. "I've always liked the maps with the little pictures," she says. "So I decided to create a pictorial map book, a kind of travel guide to places kids would really want to visit."
