Description
This little work was released over a century ago in order to teach a largely untrained audience the basic form of the Judaists' Talmud, and some statements regarding its nature and secondary opinions thereof. Admonishing the reader that the interpretations and opinions of Rabbis abound and that the work itself is extremely difficult to comprehend fully, it speaks of various figures both within and without Judaism and their statements regarding the Talmud, historically.Dense but compact enough to understand, it is a fairly decent primer to the spiritual system of Judaism, albeit one which partially omits the more mystical context thereupon.
