About the Author
As the president of nexleader, Steve Moore helps people turn increased self-awareness into effective self-leadership. His personal life mission is to inspire and equip others to live a focused life, finish well and join with God in blessing the nations. His three life passions are people development, Bible-centered leadership and world evangelization, with a special focus on developing leaders. Steve is the creator of the Identity Profile Self-Awareness Tool (IPSAT). The IPSAT is being used by universities, organizations, local churches, and Christian coaches to help individuals discover the unique combination of their personality, strengths, skills, spiritual gifts, and passions. From 2006 - 2015, Steve served as the president and CEO of Missio Nexus, the largest network of Great Commission oriented evangelicals in North America, representing churches, organizations and training institutions that send more than 20,000 missionaries serving in nearly every country. Steve's ministry has taken him around the world. He has provided leadership for teams serving in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. He currently serves as board chair for World Relief, as an Executive Committee member of the board for the National Association of Evangelicals, and as Vice Chair of the Global Leadership Council for the World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission. Steve has written several other books, including, The Dream Cycle: Leveraging the Power of Personal Growth, While You Were Micro-Sleeping, Who is My Neighbor? Being A Good Samaritan in a Connected World, and Seize the Vuja dé. His e-book, Why Dead People Make the Best Mentors: And How to Learn from Them, is available for free from the nexleader idea portal at ideas.nexleader.com. Steve and his wife Sherry have four adult children; they currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
