Unwrap the Joy: Advent Bible Study

So much of the Christmas season is spent with a focus on decorations, events, gift giving, and gatherings. Frequently we lose sight of the real reason for Christmas. Without the birth of Jesus, we would never have a Christmas to celebrate. So, this year, I encourage you to join me as we walk through the thirty days of December studying scripture that tells us God's purpose and plan for sending Jesus to this earth. In this study guide, you will find a copy of the thirty-one-day reading plan to allow you to easily follow along with the daily reading. Then, you will find a journaling page for each day. This study guide is set to encourage you in reading a daily scripture passage. A brief lesson will be provided on the use of the SOAP Bible study method. Then, the daily journaling pages will help guide you through the process each day.

About the Author
Tonya Andrews is a Bible study teacher from North Mississippi who works in women's community Bible ministry. After avoiding the call from the Lord to write her own Bible study for the last several years, she finally surrendered to the Lord after falling down the stairs and breaking her foot and leg. Apparently the Lord was serious about this call to write. He decided to force her to "be still" and get writing.
