Redoute was renowned for his precise paintings of flowers and plants and was one of Marie Antoinette's official court artists. In 1787, he studied plants at the Royal Botanical Gardens, thereafter he returned to France, he was employed in 1792 by the French Academy of Sciences. Redoute has often been described as the greatest botanical illustrator. Within this curated collection, there are beautiful drawings of cherries, apples, pears, and much more. How to use the prints: The one sided prints can be removed by using a box cutter or scissors, they are ideal for framing, home decor, and papercrafts.
