Dr. Helen Pilcher is a science writer based in the UK. She has written for Nature, the Guardian, BBC Focus and New Scientist. She has a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the London Institute of Psychiatry and ran the Royal Society's Science in Society Program before becoming a full time writer.
