Women of the Bible: Women's Bible Study

Women of the Bible is a study of the 18 prominent women whose stories appear in the Bible. Each lesson is in two parts, presenting how we are introduced to the woman and her how we see her later in life. Each lesson outline includes: just imagine (life in that time), read about (the woman), clarifications, exploring questions, the rest of the story, application, "what's in it for me?" our response to God, and suggested scriptures for further study. The student is encouraged to apply principles from those lives to her own life, with the final chapter zeroing in on the student's life story. Women of the Bible was written in response to requests from a ladies' Bible study group led by Darlene Saunders. Darlene has also written Life Lessons for Caregivers, Psalms for Caregivers (a devotional), To India With Love (a missionary biography), and Pinky (junior novelette).
