About the Author
Wayne Fowler (Author)
Ontario-based woodworking artists and regular contributors to Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine, Wayne and Jacob Fowler have published hundreds of fretwork magazine articles, thousands of patterns, and a handful of books. Wayne has been scrolling for more than 30 years and Jacob began designing patterns when he was 5 years old. The father and son team specializes in freestanding, single-piece patterns for the scroll saw based on wildlife, landscape, and floral themes. They create their realistic designs using computer drawing software, working from their own extensive photographic studies of live animals taken on location in the wild, in zoos, and in nature preserves. They are the authors of Ultimate Book of Scroll Saw Patterns and Woodworker's Pattern Book.
