Description

"As someone who has become enamored with the RV lifestyle, purchasing this book was a no-brainer. After finishing the book I have come to a greater understanding of the RV way of life as a whole. This book prepares and educates you for the road ahead (pun intended) while proving an interesting narrative." - S. Conway

The thrill of adventure. The freedom of the open road. The smell of a campfire on a warm summer's evening. The feel of a gentle breeze wafting through the forest. Waking up to birds chirping just outside your window. The way clean, fresh, natural spring water refreshes you to your very soul.

These are the simple joys that RV Life can bring you.

When I was a kid, we spent every school break on a family RV road trip. I was fortunate enough that my parents could take time off from their busy jobs to be able to spend some quality time with my siblings and me. Every summer, we found a campground, usually crowded with other families, to spend time splashing in the pool or running around in a big open grassy field. We played games in the car that kept my attention focused outside of the moving car and off of my Gameboy screen. We visited iconic national parks and landmarks. I think I have probably been to every state in the continental US at least once

The best moments of my childhood consisted of these special trips.

Now, as an adult, I have the opportunity to borrow my parent's RV. They have, of course, updated it since our trips in the late 90s. I continue to feed my need for adventure by spending nearly all of my vacation time going somewhere in the RV.

In this RV Lifestyle Guide - What I Know About the Life and Times of RV Travel book, I wanted to share with you what I have learned about the RV life. I want to inspire you to see the sights that aren't as well-traveled. I share with you many of the places that I went as a kid and that I continue to visit as often as I can. These 20+ Suggested Itineraries in this book are the places that I think everyone should see in their lifetime. Maybe you can create some magnificent memories of your own.

This book is broken into two parts. Part one details RV living for those who are just starting out. I think that often we get an idea to do something bold (like taking an epic road trip) without knowing exactly what we're getting into. Part two talks all about the places that I think you should see at least once in your lifetime.

In the First Part of the book, you will learn all about

  • Choosing the right RV
  • The benefits of RV travel
  • If you should rent an RV or purchase one
  • How to go boondocking
  • What to pack
  • Some fun family car games
  • Advice on traveling with pets
  • Campsite etiquette
  • 15 RV hacks

In the Second Part of the book, I will outline 20+ places all across the US that you should not miss during your travels. I will also give you suggested places to stay as well as extensive information on the history and culture of the location you visit. I'm a bit of a history nerd and could not help but include all of the facts that I find so fascinating

Happy trails
