About the Author
Stephen Byrne was born in Wimbledon in December 1966 and first watched Rovers in the goalless draw with Orient at Eastville in November 1974. He has co-written, with Mike Jay, two books about the club, Pirates in Profile, a who's who which was published in 1995 and Bristol Rovers Football Club: The Definitive History, which was published in 2003.
