Actress, model, dancer and activist Leyna Bloom made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2021. She landed the cover the same year and became SI Swimsuit’s first transgender cover model.
Bloom was also the first transgender woman of color to appear in Vogue India in ’17 and the only trans model to walk the runway at Paris Fashion Week for Tommy Hilfiger in ’19.
She made her acting debut in Danielle Lessovitz’s Port Authority, which premiered at the ’19 Cannes Film Festival. It was the first film in festival history to feature a trans woman of color in a leading role.
Bloom has continued to pursue her acting career with appearances in the hit series Pose and the film Asking for It.
