About the Author
Michael Scott has been a motoring journalist for 40 years, and has specialized in motorcycle grand prix racing, attending almost every GP since 1984. As well as contributing to magazines worldwide, including Japan, the USA, Australia, India, and much of Europe, Scott has edited SuperBike Magazine and Road Racer. He is the author of several books including, for Carlton, MotoGP: The Illustrated History (which has global sales of 70,000) and the critically acclaimed Wayne Rainey - His Own Story.

Valentino Rossi is a giant of grand prix racing, and a worldwide household name who has won nine MotoGP championships--seven in the 500 cc/MotoGP class.
