Description
Mariah, a bookbinder's daughter, seems doomed to a life of domesticity, betrothed to a man twice her age on the other side of the world. She is on her way to her dreaded wedding, sailing from England to Jamaica, when her ship stumbles upon a pirate: Toussaint "Bad Weather" Dupuis. This pirate bears a curse from the Aztec god of storms to bring tragedy upon whoever is near him.
