Chick Hearn was an American sportscaster known primarily as the long-time play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles. Steve Springer is the author of multiple books, including the New York Times bestseller American Son: The Oscar De La Hoya Story. Formerly a journalist for the Los Angeles Times, he is currently a columnist for ESPN Los Angeles. Jerry West is a former NBA player, coach, and executive who played his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was elected into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1980.
