About the Author
Winifred G. Strickland has been training and competing for almost sixty years, and is one of the world's premier dog trainers. She and her dogs have won a record 207 Obedience titles-the greatest competition record in canine Obedience history.
Winifred Strickland has been an AKC Obedience judge for eighteen years, and is the owner of Wynthea Kennels, which has been home to twenty German Shepherd Dog breed champions. At age eighty-four, she is still actively training and competing, drawing much positive attention to her dogs and her proven, no-nonsense training method.
