Dr. Lisa M Hess began her research career in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center in the early 1990s. Building on her initial training in pharmaceutical economics, health outcomes and policy, she applies a multi-disciplinary and inter-professional public health approach to the improvement of quality of life and health outcomes of individuals affected by cancer as well as of those at increased risk. She is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Indiana University Schools of Public Health and Medicine and is also Research Advisor on Global Patient Outcomes at Eli Lilly and Company. Her research focuses on providing meaningful answers to challenging questions that can translate to individually and clinically relevant applications.
