About the Author
Ana Claudia Quintana Arantes Soy médica y escritora. Egresada de la Universidad de São Paulo, soy especialista en Geriatría y Gerontología, y tengo un posgrado en Psicología-Intervenciones en duelo, por el Instituto de psicología 4 Estações, así como una formación en Cuidados paliativos por el Pallium Institute y la Universidad de Oxford. Soy socio fundadora de la Asociación Casa do Cuidar, Prática e Ensino em Cuidados Paliativos; CEO de A Casa Humana, una empresa de apoyo a la rehabilitación domiciliaria y cuidados paliativos, y tengo trece años brindando formación a grupos multidisciplinares de posgrado en el área de cuidados paliativos. En 2012 participé en TEDx FMUSP con la conferencia "La muerte es un día que vale la pena vivir", la cual tiene más de 2 millones de visitas, y fue la base para desarrollar mi primer libro, de título homónimo.
