Bob Cousy is a retired American basketball player known for his time as a point guard with the Boston Celtics. In 1957, he won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Following his time as a player, Cousy become a broadcast of Celtics games.

Robert Riger was a well-known and celebrated sports illustrator, photographer, television director, and cinematographer. He was born in Manhattan and studied at the Pratt Institute. Riger was a regular contributor to Sports Illustrated starting with its first publication in 1954.
