About the Author
Dennis Eynon earned a Master of Arts degree in Speech Communications, Theater, and Public Relations from Central Michigan University, overcoming the challenges of dyslexia. After college, he plunged into a demanding and self-directed business career. As he succeeded in building custom homes in exclusive communities in Michigan and Arizona, Dennis fulfilled his mission of living as elegantly as he had in his childhood. He also continued to find outlets for entertaining others with his sonorous tenor voice as well as opportunities to enjoy collecting, racing, and planning events in the vintage sports car world. He and his choir-director wife Carolyn raised three adult daughters and enjoy two grandchildren. Kathy El-Messidi previously published two history books. She earned a B.A. degree in Journalism from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D.
in Current American History from University of Oklahoma. During her
40-year career, she wrote C-Level Executive speeches and public relations
copy for Fortune 50 companies and major universities. A college roommate
of Carolyn Eynon's and a bridesmaid in the Eynon's wedding, she has enjoyed
watching their mutual growth and accomplishments. Retired Arizona Learning Institute Founder, Executive Director, and therapist, Marjorie designed and directed teams that led child/parent service programs for Dyslexic children and adults. A graduate of Arizona State University and Nova Southeastern University (Florida), she pioneered in Arizona Special Education assessments and interventions. Her work emphasizes collaboration between schools at all levels, doctors, researchers, and community- and state-based agencies that recognizes and responds to the unique needs of those struggling to learn.
