About the Author
Marianne Moroz Masopust grew up in Westbury, Long Island, and obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology and women's studies from Hofstra University's New College. She received her master's degree in social work and a post-master's certificate as an addiction specialist from Adelphi University. Marianne worked for thirty years as a school social worker in the Locust Valley and Levittown school districts on Long Island. Now retired, Marianne lives in East Northport with her husband David. She and her husband enjoy traveling the United States in their truck camper, hiking, and exploring the country's national parks. Marianne is currently working on her second book, a collection of anecdotes and stories from her school social work career focusing on why our high school experiences remain with us forever.
