About the Author
Khalilah Hall is the Owner and Chief Planning Officer of The Planner, LLC which provides College and Scholarship Help services. Her focus is helping families successfully navigate and understand the college application process and finding collegiate financial assistance and scholarships. She has helped hundreds of families navigate this process and take advantage of college savings opportunities since 2010. Armed with 20 years of experience of helping consumers make financial decisions for their families, Hall first applied her organization and communication skills to the education arena when her eldest child began her own college search. After much research and many scholarship applications, Hall's daughter received over $30,000 in scholarships and graduated from the University of Central Florida with no out-of-pocket cost to her family. Hall desires for this success to be duplicated for the families that she assists, especially FirstGen. In addition to working one on one with students and families to create a personal college strategy plan, Hall also facilitates workshops and webinars on various topics ranging from college admissions, essays, organization and applying for scholarships, to name a few. Hall has partnered with non-profits, community organizations and schools to facilitate workshops for their students.
