About the Author

Edmund Liem, D.D.S. Vancouver, BC Canada. Private practice at Vancouver TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre. Past president of the Canadian Chapter of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
Dr. Liem graduated in 1973 from the K.U. Nijmegen in the Netherlands. In 1994 he continues his practice in Canada in the Vancouver, BC area. He developed a great interest in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ and OSA in the general dental practice. He and his peers start to understand the potential interaction between Orthodontics, TMJ and OSA. He is a strong believer in the "new" and unique role dentistry can contribute to overall health.

In this book a team of co-authors (2 medical doctors; 3 dental specialists; 3 general dentists and 3 dental hygienists) shared their knowledge that will educate the (pediatric) dentists about Sleep Disorders in Pediatric Dentistry.
