Description
Set among the splendor of the Rocky Mountains in 1880, The Grant Conspiracy takes you to a Colorado mining town being torn apart by an evil law firm out for revenge, not for the War Between the States, but for Black Friday.
Frost and Hancock are ex-Confederates who, with the help of their henchmen, are plotting the assassination of former president Ulysses S. Grant. But their hatred comes from pure greed. They lost their fortunes when trying to corner the gold market in 1869, thanks to then President Grant, who dumped government gold on the market.

About the Author
Lee Martin is the published author of forty-two short stories, as well as seventeen Western novels with Avalon Books and one with Five Star. Also a writer of screenplays, Martin grew up on cattle ranches and has been writing mostly Westerns since the third grade.
Martin's book, Shadow on the Mesa, was the basis for Martin's screenplay for the highly rated movie with Kevin Sorbo, which was one of the most watched in Hallmark Movie Channel history. It won the Bronze Wrangler for Best Television Feature Film, awarded by the National Heritage & Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
