Description

E. M. Bounds offered perhaps a more profound understanding of prayer than any other contemporary Christian thinker. His classic books on the personal communication with God explore how prayer must come from the whole being and strengthens faith in Christian lives. It is through prayer that we share our thoughts and desires our father God. Doing good works, communion, church activities and the like, do not and should not replace prayer. Prayer must be a priority in our lives. "The life of the individual believer, his personal salvation, and personal Christian graces have their being, bloom, and fruitage in prayer." In The Weapon of Prayer E. M. Bounds addresses Prayer Essential to God, The Necessity for Praying Men, Prayerless Christians, The Ministry and Prayer, Prayer-Equipment for Preachers and much more.
