His paintings can be seen in many public collections, including the Guggenheim Museum, MOMA, and the Wadsworth Atheneum. Among the many grants he received a Guggenheim Fellowship for Painting, NEA Individual Artist's Fellowship Grant and the Pollock/Krasner Foundation Grant.
Boothe's work is represented by the Fred Giampietro Gallery in New Haven, CT.
