Description
Three years after his death, Johnny Cash acquired the rank of universal myth with the Oscar-winning film "Walk the Line". The life of a legend like this country giant exceeds the limits of any cinematographic or journalistic semblance to use. This autobiography overflows with tenderness and gratitude. Cash undertakes this endeavor motivated by the desire to make peace with the world and settle accounts with himself. A life, in short, worthy of being heard and read.

About the Author
Johnny Cash is one of the pillars on which North American folk music is based. Signed in the mid-50s by the legendary Sun Records label of Memphis, Cash was a companion of Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis in the glorious years of that intrepid label. Signed by Columbia in the 1960s, he would become a cultural institution in his country by publishing concept albums, gospel hymns, and even hosting his own television show in Nashville.
