Description

This story opens after two parents have had a huge blowout and decided to separate. The mother moves into her father's house, who descends from a tribe in India. May has written her own story in order to find herself and understand the meaning of: family, work, effort, and the unity that her parents denied her with their fighting. She eventually learns about generosity and the unexpected abundance found in the bees her grandfather, and leader, keeps in Big Sur. These memoirs reveal the life lessons that her grandfather taught her thirty years ago.
