Description
"Often, when I visit a local church they ask, 'Bishop, what can we do to grow?' This is an issue of concern on many people's minds. I challenge them to establish a 'prayer station'. Work with the local community in their special celebrations (a parade, a town festival, a public BBQ, a 5K run) and as an integral part of the community-- offer prayer. By doing this we proclaim peace and blessing to our community and in the process discover many things about our neighbors that we did not know. This was one command that Jesus gave to His disciples as they enter each new town (Luke 10). (If we follow this challenge we also get out of our building). I do not know if in meeting this challenge your church will grow, but at least they will remember you In this brief and exciting book, our beloved Father Bill fl eshes out this simple idea. His testimony invites us to be used by God to touch others hearts and bodies as He directs in prayer, and to show others what it means to be open to, led and guided by Him at 'prayer stations'. May the Lord bless you in the reading of these pages and show you the street corner or the town square where He will reveal His love and provision for the World through you "
